CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE
 
Nestled in the 1er Cru village of Chamery, Champagne Perseval-Farge is the estate of Benoist and Isabelle Perseval, whose family has had roots in Champagne since the 18th Century.
 
Cuvée de Pinots is a deep and evocative expression of Champagne’s black grapes. Richly golden in colour, this blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier smells like dried currant and red orchard fruits, with a touch of Christmas spice. A savoury sparkling, it is medium-bodied with substantial oomph on the palate, albeit tempered with pleasing mineral character.
 
Fermented in a blend of stainless steel and oak barrels, it is aged on its lees and given a dosage of 7g per litre.
