Hambledon, Surrey

From England's oldest commerical estate, this dry sparkling wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier. Aged for at least 35 months on the lees, this citrus and brioche-forward sparkler will pair well with a pork pie.

Hambledon Classic Cuvée is produced exclusively from our their estate on the South East facing chalk slopes of Windmill Down, in the historic village of Hambledon.

The Classic Cuvée is a well-balanced blend of all 3 traditional grapes, handpicked on the estate. Aged at least 35 months, it is vibrant, with structured yet ripe acidity. Tasting will elegantly unfold to reveal layers of floral and stone fruit aromas.

Decanter 92 Points

Yeasty on the nose with citrus blossom, salted nuts and yellow apple. Generous mousse opens up to a full-on palate of brioche, citrus, green fruit acidity and depth of spiced red berries. Satisfying and long. The latest release is based on the 2018 vintage. Drink 2023 - 2028
