PIEDMONT, ITALY

From a top Barbaresco cru producer, the 2024 Ca' del Baio Langhe Nebbiolo is a superb, high-toned expression of the noble grape. The nose is bright and expressive, with notes of sour cherry, wild strawberry, and rose petal, layered with savory hints of licorice and crushed stone.

On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and graceful, with fine, silky tannins and a vibrant acidity that frames the pristine red fruit. The finish is long, clean, and savory. A polished and elegant introduction to Barbaresco terroir that drinks beautifully in its youth.

The 2024 Langhe Nebbiolo is sourced from younger vines planted in 2007 and 2008 in Treiso and Barbaresco and is fermented entirely in stainless steel. It delivers all the hallmarks of Nebbiolo, including red berry aromas, structure, and grip, but in a brighter, more approachable, and juicier expression that invites earlier drinking.

At the table, it is a natural partner for tajarin with meat ragù, a classic pairing that brings out the wine’s savory depth and freshness.

Ca’ del Baio is a true family estate, led by sisters Paola, Valentina, and Federica, who have assumed responsibility for its daily operation with the guidance and support of their parents, Giulio and Luciana.
