CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE

A fresh and precise attack precedes a rich palate, whose flavors of apple, crunchy pear, roasted and citrus persist until a lively and mineral finish. Comes from the historic family-owned house founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, France

The Grapes: Typically a classic trio blend of roughly 40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Chardonnay. The Reserve Wines: Incorporates a high proportion of older reserve wines (often 50% to 70%+, depending on the base harvest) to ensure consistency and depth.Flavor Profile: Offers aromas of fresh orchard fruit, green pear, white peach, honeysuckle, and subtle brioche.Palate: Medium-bodied with a fine, persistent mousse, creamy texture, and a crisp, clean finish

La RVF 89/100

A beautiful bouquet that appears open yet wrapped by the dosage. You can sense the reserve wines in the aromatic patina with those dried-fruit notes. The palate starts out fairly broad with a quality mid-palate, while the finish is livelier with a sharper acidity.

Wine Enthusiast Roger Voss 90/100

The cuvée from this great Champagne producer is dry, fruity with a fine line of minerality. That is balanced by the apple and crisp citrus-fruit flavors coming together in a vibrant, textured wine. Drink now.

Vinous Antonio Galloni 91/100

The NV Brut Le Réserve (base 2021) is a very pretty, gracious wine. Hints of dried pear, herbs, almond, tangerine peel, dried flowers, mint and tobacco lend tons of nuance throughout. The significant presence of reserve wines adds quite a bit of complexity and character. This harmonious NV Champagne is all charm. This release is based on 2021 but is blended with a 58% reserve wines, on the higher side. What a delight. Dosage is 2.9 grams per liter. Disgorged: May 2025.
